Anandi quits ‘Balika Vadhu’ for Vikram Bhatt’s next

Pratyusha Banerjee aka Anandi of ‘Balika Vadhu’ has walked out of Colors most popular serial ‘Balika Vadhu’ for director Vikram Bhatt’s next. Pratyusha Banerjee who won the heart of her audience by stepping into little Anandi over two and a half years ago has recently announced that she is quitting the show. The decision was said to be mutual between Pratyusha Banerjee and the channel citing ‘hectic shooting schedule’ the reason behind her walk out of the show.
Actress Toral Rasputra will not replace Pratyusha Banerjee. "The show is progressing towards the highpoint focusing on Shiv-Anandi's married life. Given the hectic shooting schedules the show demands at this stage, Pratyusha has been unable to commit the required time.

"Therefore, we have mutually agreed to part ways. We understand Pratyusha's perspective and wish her all the best for her future endeavors," a channel spokesperson said in a statement.

Pratyusha Banerjee said that there is not prime reason for her leaving the show, "I have left the show. There is no reason as such. It was a mutual discussion between me and my channel. The talks were on for a few months that I wanted to quit, but they also had to find someone who could take the story forward. Now I think they have found someone," Pratyusha told IANS.
The channel has no bad feeling for Pratyusha Banerjee as she left the show mid-way. "The show is progressing towards the highpoint focusing on Shiv-Anandi's married life. Given the hectic shooting schedules the show demands at this stage, Pratyusha has been unable to commit the required time. Therefore, we have mutually agreed to part ways. We understand Pratyusha's perspective and wish her all the best for her future endeavours," the spokesperson said in a statement.
‘Balika Vadhu’ is riding high on TRP’s after Anandi married to Shivraj Alok Shekhar, essayed by actor Siddharth Shukla.
Meanwhile, Pratyusha said that she has no plans post 'Balika Vadhu'.
"I don't have any plans at the moment. I will take a break for a month and then see what to take up next," she added.
Hope, the favorite bahu wins the heart of the movie-goers as well.
