Bhangra king Daler Mehndi has recorded a new Telugu song for NTR Junior-starrer "Baadshah".
Mehndi made his Telugu debut with "Rubber gaajulu" for the 2007 film "Yamadonga". He also delivered another Telugu song, the hit title track of Rajinikanth's "Kuselan".
Mehndi, who has been occupied with his latest project "Mission Love", agreed to record the Telugu number despite his busy schedule.
He flew to Hyderabad especially to croon the track and was greeted with overwhelming response by the film director Srinu Vaitla, said a source.
The song, in Mehndi's powerful voice, was recorded within a couple of hours.
"Baadshah", an action movie, is produced by Bandla Ganesh under his Parameshwara Art Productions.
Thaman is scoring music for the mega project and lyrics are by Ramayogi Sasthry
