Gurmeet, Suhasi go retro this Holi

Gurmeet, Suhasi go retro this Holi

Popular television stars Gurmeet Chaudhry of Zee Tv's serial 'Punarvivaah' and Suhasi Dhami of 'Aaj ki Housewife Hai ... Sab jaanti Hai' will add color to Holi celebrations by making appearances in never-before-seen avatars.

As Zee TV's Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke will celebrate the 'Holi Ladakpan Ki' on Monday, Gurmeet will be seen dressed in all-white paying a tribute to Jeetendra.

Girls will swoon as the hunky heartthrob will dance to the popular track 'Taaki Taaki' from the 80's.

As if that's not enough, Suhasi will set temperatures soaring as she will bring alive the most fashionable era of Bollywood - the 70's - with a gorgeous Parveen Babi look with polka-dotted blouses, pants with flared bell-bottoms and big sun glasses.

Suhasi will bring the house down as she will shimmy away to 'Ooh La La' from the 'The Dirty Picture'.

Gurmeet said, `Jitendra is a legendary actor and it is an honor to be called upon to pay a tribute to him. His personal style of clothes and dancing was inimitable. I prepared for the act by watching a lot of his numbers.

"I have given it my best shot, let's hope my fans enjoy my performance! Here's wishing everybody a very Happy Holi!"

Suhasi said, `The 70's are undisputedly the most fashionable era Indian Cinema has seen ... and the trends from the 70's are back with a bang after Vidya made India go weak in its knees with 'The Dirty Picture'.

"My look for the dance act in 'Holi Ladakpan Ki' is inspired by 70's fashion. You will see elements of Parveen Babi and Vidya Balan's 'Dirty Picture' look in my styling. I had a lot of fun shooting it ... I'm sure the fans will love it too!`

This gulal and bhaang packed episode will feature exciting dance acts by the most popular stars from Zee TV's primetime shows including 'Pavitra Rishta' leads Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi, Punarvivaah leading lady Kratika Sengar, Housewife leads Anirudh Dave and Suhasi Dhami, Karan Singh Grover and Surabhi Jyoti of 'Qubool Hai', Ekta Kaul and Ashish Sharma of 'Rab Se Sohna Isshq' Varun Badola of 'Phir Subah Hogi' and Rati Pandey of 'Hitler Didi' amongst others.
