Salman Khan who has just returned from US on Saturday after health check-up will leave to the court after sometime. Sessions Judge UB Hejib scheduled the hearing today, 25 March 2012 and Salman Khan is most likely to appear in court. For the first time Salman would appear at the Sessions Court after the Bandra Magistrate transferred the matter to the Sessions Court referring the matter to be very serious.
At first the the court asked Salman Khan to appear on March 11, 2013 but as the actor did not appear as the matter was yet to assign to any judge.
On September 28, 2002, Salman run his Land Cruiser over a pavement outside a bakery in suburban Bandra which killed one person sleeping in the pavement and injuring four others.
