In the long successful tenure of filmy career, Madhuri Dixit has not done any item song, for the first time she will be seen shaking her legs in an item song. The Dhak Dhak lady who has recently announced her online dancing academy will do an item song for Ranbir Kapoor's ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. Ayan Mukherjee has approached Madhuri and she readily agreed.
Before her comeback movie, ‘Gulab Gang’ will hit the theatre, she will be seen in this special number. She has also signed Vidhal Bharadwaj’s ‘Dekh Ishqiya’ which is a sequel to Vidya Balan starrer, ‘Ishqiya’.
Ranbir Kapoor is an ardent fan of Madhuri and he is highly thrilled that she will be part of his movie, when he was asked about Madhuri’s presence, he said, “Yes, even I have heard about it but nothing is confirmed yet. But I am really looking forward if I can work with Madhuriji”.
“I have been a big fan of hers, big admirer. I remember when she got married, I also cried. So, it would be great fun working with her. But I don’t know whether they have confirmed it yet,” he added.
Directed by Ayan Mukherjee of ‘Wake Up Sid’ fame, ‘Yeh Jaawani hai Deewani’ starring ex-flame Ranbir and Deepika Padukone will release on May 31.
Speaking about Deepika, the actor said, “It’s always great to see someone whom you have been so close to reach where she has because of her hard work, resilience, vision and intelligence. I am very proud of everything she has achieved,” said Ranbir.
