Rs 25 crores riding on Sanjay Dutt’s movies

Bollywood Munnabhai, Sanjay Dutt sentenced 5 years jail term in 1993 Mumbai serial blast case and if the latest grapevine is to be believed then Rs 25 crores is riding on Sanjay Dutt’s movies. If Sanju Baba surrender and go back behind the bars for three and a half years then producers would have to suffer loss of around 250 crores.
"As per the back-of-the-envelope calculations, around Rs. 250 crore are riding on Sanjay, involved in various projects. These projects include big ticket upcoming movies P.K., Policegiri, Zanjeer, Ungli among others," a source revealed.
Here is the current status of the film cited above.  Rajkumar Hirani's P.K. -50% complete, K.S. Ravikumar's Policegiri - 90% complete, Rensil D'Silva's Unglee - 30% complete, Soham Shah's Sher - 90% complete, Subhash Kapoor's Munnabhai Chale Dilli : just announced.
Dharma Productions who is working on ‘Unglee’ said, "Bollywood is distraught over the SC judgement. The shooting of 'Ungli' concerning Sanjay Dutt’s part is complete and only some portion of it is remaining to be completed".
Other upcoming project is Apoorva Lakhia’s ‘Zanjeer’ remake where Sanjay Dutt is reprising the role of veteran actor Pran.
Around Rs. 50-60 crore are at bet in Zanjeer, while Rs. 25 crore on Policegiri, which is the remake of a South movie. Sanjay is paired opposite Prachi Desai in the film.
"We have completed shooting for Zanjeer. The verdict is shocking and I feel shattered. I am not worried about his (Sanjay's) presence for post-production and other formalities... My concern is that he fights back," Producer Amit Mehra said.
Well, at present the producers are not concern about the money betted on Sanjay’s movies, rather they are more concerned about Sanjay Dutt’s fate. All want Sanju Baba back with them.
