Neither super stardom nor work commitments can keep actor Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan away from his family. In spite of his crazy work schedule, the actor has been spotted repeatedly in the recent days spending time with his family. The latest about the actor was seen when he took his family to see the Hollywood blockbuster Star Trek into the Darkness in a suburban theatre. The perfectionist actor of Bollywood was casually dressed in jeans, white kurta and a black baseball cap. He was accompanied by wife Kiran Rao attired in a simple sleeveless maxi dress and nephew Imran Khan (who looked delectable in his sky blue skinnies, sea green tee and tan leather shoes) and his wife Avantika Mallik. The family was seen sharing tubs of popcorn as they enjoyed the show.

Aamir Khan is reportedly busy with his two demanding projects. On the one hand, he is shooting for Dhoom 3 – the blockbuster release of Christmas of this year. His costar is Katrina Kaif and the film is being produced under the banner of Yash Raj films. Portions are being shot in London, Mumbai and Chicago. On the other hand is his film with Rajkumar Hirani – Peekay. This is the first time that the two are coming together since 3 idiots. So, there are lots of expectations riding on this film.
However, Khan is finding time for his family in the midst of these commitments. Recently he joined his little son Azad in a football match along with Imran, Avantika and Kiran. Then he was spotted celebrating the birthday of his daughter Ira in a special father daughter lunch. He also gave a birthday party for Ira where he hung out with her friends. Now the latest family excursion included the movies where the actor was seen to be relaxing with his family.
He was accompanied by wife Kiran Rao. Reportedly, Kiran has broken away from the aura of her celebrity husband as she is set to launch her own production house, Kiran Rao Films (KRF).  A source revealed, “Kiran wants to produce her kind of cinema through this production house. These will be niche, low-budget films with good content–films that fail to have a platform because they don’t get the backing of a proper production house.”
“‘The Ship of Theseus’ will be our first project and we will release it in July this year. Kiran has insisted that her films won’t compete at the box office or be pitched against any film commercially,” added the source.
