Good news for TV-goers. Their favorite character Archana played by Ankita Lokhande is back in Zee TV popular serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’. As the serial completes 1000 successful episodes, a source informs that Ankita Lokhande will be back soon. Ankita has been associated to the serial since its inception. There was also high speculation that she will be replaced by Gautami Kapoor and Shilpa Agnihotri but Ekta Kapoor convinced her and got her back in the serial.
It was rumored that Ankita quit the serial as she was not comfortable playing a grandmother at this age and again rumor spread that she is not quitting the serial but taking a break of two months to be with her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput during the release of Sushant’s Bollywood debut ‘Kai Po Che’. However, during that period she also acted in Ekta Kapoor’s serial ‘Ek Thi Naayka’.
Ankita is expected to join the cast and crew of ‘Pavitra Rishta’ on Wednesday or Thursday. Currently, Archana is showing in hospital and she is in coma and doctors are trying their best to bring her out of it. A source says, “While Archana is lying in the hospital room, Soham (Ankit Narang) will pretend to fire Manav (Hiten Tejwani) to instigate her to come out of coma.”
‘Pavitra Rishta’ started with Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput. When Sushant left the show mid-way to pursue his Bolllywood dream, Hiten Tejwani stepped into his shoes.
