‘B.A.Pass’ gets a ‘Pass’ from Mahesh Bhatt and daughter Pooja Bhatt




Mahesh Bhatt along with daughter Pooja Bhatt came for the special screening of B.A. Pass at Lightbox.

The filmmaker who is known for his immense knowledge in cinema was very impressed with the way the film was made. So overwhelmed he was that he went on to hug the lead pair Shilpa Shukla and Shadab Kamal for good 5 minutes. Not only that, he also took a picture of the entire cast on his phone.

“It’s one of the gutsiest and courageous films I have seen” says Mahesh Bhatt about ‘B.A. Pass’. Pooja Bhatt was so carried away that she ended up in tears and also left good words for the team and their work.

Mahesh Bhatt also tweeted, “Ajay Bahl's BA pass is a path breaking film. It is brave & moving. Great performances. May the force be with them.”

The film is about a young small town boy moves to Delhi to stay with his aunt and finish his college. Soon he is seduced by a mysterious married woman known to him as Sarika ‘Aunty’. Set amidst the neon-lit by lanes of Delhi’s Paharganj unfolds an erotic human drama between the two. A relationship based on lust, lies and deceit is forged. As the young boy gets more and more entrenched into his surroundings he discovers a city that thrives on corrupting even the most naive and innocent. The film is directed by Ajay Bahl and is based on the story, The Railway Aunty by Mohan Sikka.
