Bollywood celebs simply love to surprise co-stars and their directors with their lavish gifts. Here's a look at some gifts that stars have bestowed....

John Abraham was so mighty pleased with his latest film Shootout At Wadala that he gifted the film's director-producer Sanjay Gupta a fancy bike.

Salman Khan is known to splurge his pals with high-end watches. So is Sanjay Dutt. Shah Rukh Khan, too, loves to surprise his co-stars and directors with fancy stuff. Stars sure know how to brighten someone else's day.

Cynics may state that a star may be recyling freebies that he or she has received as part of an endorsement deal or for making appearances.

Whatever the means or methods, a gift is a gift! And personal rapport with a fellow star or filmmaker matters a lot. It is not about how expensive it is or how big it is. It's about the thought behind it that matters, right? Right. Here's a look at some gifts that stars have bestowed....

Shah Rukh Khan
There are too many examples. King Khan presented a superbike worth over Rs 15 lakh bike to his Chennai Express director Rohit Shetty.

Earlier when Katrina Kaif and he were shooting in London, he made sure she had enough jackets to keep herself warm by sending his staff to buy some for her. He had also gifted her a fancy new gym bag too on the sets of their Yash Chopra film with a card that read, `Have a great workout!` He sent her the present after being told that Kat was looking for a particular bag.

Priyanka Chopra, who was doing a cameo in RA.One was gifted an expensive acoustic guitar. As the actress loves musical instruments and enjoys music and singing, he felt it was the best buy for her.

Showing his gratitude to the legendary actor Rajinikanth, who also performed a cameo in RA.One, SRK gifted him a luxury car. King Khan also gifted a bike worth Rs 15 lakh to Sanjay Dutt for his guest appearance in RA.One. Arjun Rampal too received a luxury car post the release of RA.One. When the 31 Bollywood stars shot for the title song in Om Shanti Om, SRK gave each of them special gift hampers with expensive gizmos.

After watching Om Shanti Om, King Khan presented director Farah Khan a high-end luxury car.

Too many gifts, don't you think?

Salman Khan
The dildar Khan tops the list with his generous gifts...

There was no way Kareena Kapoor could demand a fee from Salman Khan for doing the Fevicol item number in Dabangg 2. So to show his gratitude for her favour, Sallu gifted her a BMW.

Salman missed Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia's wedding celebration but reportedly the actor planned to compensate it with a surprising gift by gifting a holiday vacation as a gift.

He gifted Ranbir a Rolex watch to make up for being rude to him. And, when Ranbir refused to accept the extravagant offering, it is rumoured Khan threatened to throw the watch away

The first recipient of the Being Human designer watch was actor Aseem Merchant, Salman's buddy and his co-star from Wanted. While partying one night with him, when Salman got characteristically generous.

Salman gifted a painting to Ranbir on the sets of his TV show 10 Ka Dum. It was a painting of Ranbir's grandfather, the legendary actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor. Taken by surprise, Ranbir was visibly overwhelmed with emotion .

Salman gifted his Bodyguard co-star Raj Babbar a Merc! It was a belated birthday gift for the star politician after the shoot of Bodyguard wrapped up

Sanjay Dutt
Thrilled with one of the action sequences for Zanjeer, Dutt took off his wristwatch and gifted it to the action director Javed Ejaaz.

While Ejaaz was thrilled with the gesture, he didn't know the value of the watch (around Rs 10 lakh). When others on the set told the action director the watch's worth the action director nearly fainted.`

Two years ago, Dutt had gifted Ranbir Kapoor a Harley Davidson bike worth Rs 30 lakh on RK's 29th birthday.

Kareena Kapoor

Katrina Kaif

Everyone on the sets of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan was in for a pleasant surprise when Katrina Kaif decided to buy gifts for the whole crew.

She gave gifts to about 150 people, right from the lightmen to the senior staff. Kat simply walked in on the sets and immediately said she would like to

meet everyone. Light and set guys got gift vouchers, some got perfumes while her personal staff, received cash bonuses.

Ranbir Kapoor
While shooting for Ayan Mukerji's upcoming film, one of the assistant directors lost her cellphone. Ranbir Kapoor immediately bought her a new phone.

RK is known to gift cell phones to his staff and apparently does not gift what he endorses -- just to make it clear that he has actually purchased it and it is not a freebie he is passing on. Sonakshi Sinha
She gifted her precious guitar to her buddy photographer Roshan Shrestha. Sonakshi shot with Roshan and liked his snaps so much that she decided to gift her guitar to him.

The young actress had stated on her micorblogging site, `Parted with my beautiful guitar... gave gift to @ rohanshrestha for sheer awesomeness behind the camera.` The photographer thanked the actress and posted a snap of the guitar with the message, `Awesome present from an Awesome person! Thank you @ sonakshisinha for such a cool gift! Made my day!`
