Salman Khan
is a Bollywood superstar who is known for his
big heart and generous gestures. The actor even has a NGO named ‘Being Human’
which does lots of social works and charity programs. Salman Khan feels that
every person should do charity, whatever may be the reason behind it. He
clearly stated that, "Everybody in the industry does charity. Some people
talk about it and some people don't. They say intent is important in charity, I
don't believe it. Even if someone is doing charity to show off, I have no
problems with it. One should just do charity for whatever reasons they want."
In a recent development, the actor’s NGO has joined forces
with Fortis foundation to inaugurate the ‘Little Heart’ program. The program
focuses to provide medical treatment to children suffering from congenital
heart defects. It definitely a good attempt at bringing much needed medical
care to the under privileged children. Salman has even opened his brand
merchandise shop in the premises of the hospital. We support its profit will
also go to the charity for this noble cause. Salman added, "I think if you
have money, you should use it to save life. I feel what we are doing is just a
drop in the ocean."
On a lighter note Salman spoke about other things in life.
It is a known fact that the hero is affectionately called as ‘Sallu Bhai’ by
his fans and close friends alike. Though the word ‘bhai’ is respectful, does he
likes being called a ‘bhai’? A candid Salman confessed that he doesn’t like the ladies to call him ‘bhai’. He
smilingly stated that, "I have four sisters and two of them are rakhi
sisters . They are enough for me. I cannot handle people calling me 'bhai'. In
fact I don't know how to react when a girl calls me 'bhai'."
Salman is well known for his well maintained physique and
everyone is keen to learn about his secrets of maintain it the way it is.
Replying to this question, the Dabangg star said that, "My father says
after 30 years a man is responsible for his own looks. So, if you are a
frustrated person then it will show on your face." Well the answer
certainly gives a glimpse to his secret. Success and a clear concise can do
wonders to a person’s health and beauty.
