Kareena Kapoor's love
affair with size zero does not seem to end. The actor who flaunted her
extremely lean figure in Tashan and Kambakht Ishq is set to lose those
extra kilos of her current plump self for some of the scenes for Karan
Johar's home production film 'Gori Tere Pyar Mein', opposite Imran Khan
for which she is already shooting.
Kareena has already started working on her new look. "I used to do a
lot of power yoga but have started Iyengar yoga now, which is more
difficult. I have already done two sessions and I am feeling absolutely
amazing," she said.
Recently, Kareena did an item number for Salman Khan starrer 'Dabangg 2' and was criticised for her weight gain.
"It was the requirement of the song ('Fevicol'). I couldn't have
looked lean and toned as I was in 'Halkat jawani' (her item song in
'Heroine') because the song 'Fevicol' is a desi number."
Guess size zero will be back with a bang one more time. Let's have a
sneak peek in Bebo's size zero secrets. Here is how Kareena Kapoor got
the size zero figure.
Kareena eats only
paranthas and curds for breakfast. She makes do with rotis during lunch
along with some simply prepared vegetable dishes and dal. Ditto for
dinner. Snacks consist of soya milk, curds and some nuts.
Exercise has a very
important place in Bebo's daily routine, as is only to be expected. Her
Yoga practice lasts 2 hours every day.
In 2001 she brought her
weight down to 60 Kg and maintained it through Ajnabee, Asoka, Kabhi
Kushi Kabhi gam and a host of other movies till 2006 releases Omkara and
Don.
The ultimate Kareena was seen as a size zero figure in 3 Idiots and Tashan. Her weight then became an incredible 48 Kg.
Her trainer, Rujuta
Diwekar, is an expert hand at molding celebrities. Kareena has stuck to
her dietary regime chalked out by expert dietitians, nutritionists and
her fitness trainer. Kareena had a frugal meal for months.
Khambakth Ishq had to
have a chic girl and that is what Kareena became. Rujuta altered
Kareena's diet to be divided into small quantities and to them 6 or 7
times a day. And, no stuff that could spell disaster like ice creams
and meat dishes.
When she goes visiting
Kerala she binges on appams and idlis. Both are prepared by steamed and
not fried. In Italy, where she recently was, she had only risotto and
pasta with gorgonzola, all fat-free food items.
