Come this Friday and we will get to see two very important and gigantic releases of this year, 'Bombay Talkies' and 'Shootout At Wadala'. ‘Bombay Talkies’ is a very special film as the film is a dedication to 100 years of Indian cinema by four eminent filmmakers of Bollywood, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar.
Karan Johar’s movie is based upon a happily married urban couple whose marriage fall flat after the wife meets a new colleague at work and falls for him.
Dibakar Banerjee’s movie revolves around a failed actor struggling to make a living after his father’s death. He struggles to prove himself to the world and more importantly, to his daughter.
Anurag Kashyap’s movie is based upon a man from a small town in UP comes to Mumbai to fulfil his ailing father’s last wish which may also save his life.
Zoya Akhtar’s movie is based upon a 12 year old boy from a middle-class family who is inspired by a film star and all set to break the conventions of the society and gears up to live his dream.
‘Bombay Talkies’ is a compilation of four touching stories of four eminent directors.
The second very important movie of this Friday is Balaji Movies ‘Shootout At Wadala’. The film is a real story of first registered encounter of Mumbai police. The story revolves around a gangster Manya Surve. John Abraham plays the role of Manya Surve. Directed by Sanjay Gupta
