Frieda Pinto's loss is Sonam Kapoor's win

In an unlikely casting coup, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ actress Freida Pinto is being replaced by fashionista Sonam Kapoor in one of her upcoming films. The project is director Navdeep Singh's thriller titled ‘NH10’ which was initially being produced by Eros International. However, after they pulled out, the film has been inadvertently delayed.

However, there is talk that the project is now being revived with a new face - Sonam Kapoor. The development happened after Freida put her foot down and refused to do a song and dance routine in the film. A source reveals, "She doesn't want to be associated as a Bollywood actress now that she is a huge name in Hollywood. Clearly the film wasn't something she was keen on doing."

So the director approached Sonam who was quite intrigued by the subject of the film and is considering acting in it.

Both the beauties showed off their style quotient at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in their uber-glamorous avatars. After ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, Frieda carved a niche for herself in the international market. The film will star Rajkumar Yadav as the male lead.
