Teaching your kids to be honest and to always speak the truth can backfire at times.
How? Well, when we met yesteryear actress Tanuja recently, she told CS how teaching her daughters to be honest has at times been a problem. `There was this time when my friend called up and I was not in the mood to talk.
I told Kajol to tell her I was not at home. She went and told her that I had said I was not home. The friend understood and passed on another message to me asking me if I would call her later.
Then I realised what my girl had done. I couldn't help laughing and spoke to the friend eventually,` she recalled.
