IPL spot-fixing case: Vindoo Dara Singh arrested in Mumbai




In a shocking development at the on-going IPL spot fixing case, wrestler tuned actor Vindoo Dara Singh, son of legendary Dara Singh was arrested in Mumbai for his alleged link-up with bookies involved in the IPL spot fixing scandal. His name came up during police interrogation. A bookie named Ramesh Vyas, revealed the involvement of Vindoo Dara Singh. Crime branch took Vindo into custody and he will be produced in a lower court in Mumbai on Wednesday.
So far 19 people were arrested from different cities in spot fixing case at the on-going IPL. All the names came into forefront after three cricketers of Rajasthan Royals, S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were held. All three Rajasthan Royal were arrested and suspended from the game. The three of them will be produced in the court today.
On interrogating for hours, Vindoo admit of being involved in betting. He was questioned on Monday night and was formally arrested on Tuesday from his home. Sreesanth’s laptop and other valuables things were seized from his hotel room. Some photographs of models were discovered and with few, the cricketer is seen getting cozy.
CBI is investigating the case and with every passing day new names come up.
