Kareena Kapoor, who is set to wow fans with her upcoming project Satyagraha, wasn’t ready for close up when she attended the screening of Saif Ali Khan-Kunal Khemu starrer Go Goa Gone. The actor, who has invariably made headlines for her fashion choices, looked extremely tired and dowdy as she accompanied husband Saif Ali Khan and sister Karishma Kapoor for the do.

The style icon dressed down for the event, wearing ill-fitting trousers and a light blue shirt with a stole.

“Kareena was supposed to walk on a rope without being strapped. As is the norm with production, she was asked whether she needed a stunt person to perform the rope-walking for her. But she insisted on doing it on her own so she went ahead with the shot,” a tabloid quoted a unit member as saying.
“As she was carefully treading to maintain balance, her feet got scratched by the thick jute. The bruise seemed like a burn scar. On top of that, the hot weather wasn’t helping her case. But she made sure the scene was completed without much delay,” added the source.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is often asked about her motherhood plans, made headlines recently when she gave a rather blunt reply to mediapersons. “A woman does not only need to produce babies,” the 32-year-old actor, who married actor Saif Ali Khan in October last year, was quoted as saying.

“Both Saif and I represent a modern-day couple with a very contemporary way of living, and starting a family is not our priority at all right now. Also, I have a lot to achieve in life at the moment. My career is keeping me busy,” she added.

The actor also shared the reason why there haven’t been any changes after her marriage. “Saif and I understand each other and are very much in love. He  knows that my career is very important for me. Things have been exactly the same after marriage though we’re so busy I barely get to see him!” she added.

“On Sunday night, Zoya gave a three-hour narration to the actress at her Bandra home. The role is to die for and Kareena is extremely excited about it. Even her sister Karisma loved it, and is urging her to say yes. The film belongs to the leading lady and Bebo has been wanting to sink her teeth into a performance-based role for sometime now. She wants to be challenged as an actress. Another big incentive to do this film are the new energies. Bebo has never worked with Zoya before, except for the cameo in Luck By Chance. She likes the director’s past films and her sensibilities, so is trying to work her dates and somehow fit this film into her schedule," a source was quoted as telling a daily.
