Sanjay Dutt who made a special place in the heart of millions of fans worldwide though his spontaneous and versatile acting. Prayers, havans were conducted before Sanjay surrender himself before the court. Since morning his friends and close ones rallied his house to assure him that they are with him and will always be with him and he did not have to be worried about. With soggy eyes, he left his house for three and a half years. Dressed in blue jeans and white kurta, Sanjay was heartbroken and mum. Sanjay leaves his cute twins, his family his close ones back home to serve three and a half years in jail. As he walked out of his house, his life partner Manyata Dutt was with him, holding his hand. Also spotted filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt with whom Sanjay delivered few hits. His two sisters, Namrata and Priya also accompanied their brother to the special TADA court where he will surrender in few minutes.
Media, fans waited outside his residence to get a glimpse of the actor. Security beefed up his residence following the threats that he received. At first he will be taken to the Aurthur jail and from there he will be shifted to Yerwada jail in Pune.
Sanjay was found guilty of possessing AK-56 rifle and illegal weapons that were used to execute Mumbai 1993 blasts.
