Madhuri Dixit to perform mujra in ‘Dekh Ishqiya’




Madhuri Dixit, the epitome of beauty and versatile actress will perform mujra in Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Dekh Ishqiya’.  She will be performing on the dance song titled, ‘Apke Karar Mein’ composed by Vishal Bharadwaj.  The song will be similar to the line of ‘Maar Dala’ from ‘Devdas’. Abhishek Chaubey will direct the movie.
“The song is ready and we will be shooting for it after we’re done filming the entire movie. I can’t reveal much but I’ll say that it is a very elaborate number which will be shot on a big set,” a leading daily quoted co-producer Ketan Maru as saying.

In the movie, Madhuri will enact the role of Begum Para of Lucknow and she has been paired opposite Naseeruddin Shah. Speaking about the role, the dancing diva said, “Mine is a two-layered character. She (the begum) looks very happy on the surface but has her secret desires and cravings”.
After a long hiatus, Madhuri is back on silver screen. She also judged dance reality show, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’. In the peak period of her career, she married US based cardiac surgeon Sriram Nene. She has two sons but after staying in the US for a decade, she returned to India with her family and resume acting. Madhuri marked her comeback with ‘Aaja Nachle’ in 2007 but the film did not work.
‘Dekh Ishqiya’ features Madhuri Dixit, Naseeruddin Shah and Huma Qureshi in the lead.
Apart from ‘Dekh Ishqiya’, she will also be seen in ‘Gulab Gang’.
