Ranbir, Deepika to visit 11 cities for film promotion

Anticipation is building up regarding the upcoming film of Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani. This is the first time that the two stars will appear together in a film since their breakup. The controversies surrounding Deepika, Ranbir and Katrina kept the filmy fans in gossip for months. Deepika had made some explosive comments about her ex boyfriend Ranbir on the popular show Koffee with Karan. So, we cannot wait to see the sizzling chemistry between the two stars in the film whose music has already become a big hit.

Deepika and Ranbir has been busy and are appearing together to promote their film as only twenty days remain before release. In spite of her tight schedule, Deepika has taken time off from Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Rohit Shetty to promote the film. In these twenty days, Ranbir and Deepika are slated to visit 11 cities in India to promote the film. A whirlwind promotional tour of UK, UAE and a few other global destinations are also planned. Ranbir and Deepika are coming together after their last film Bachna ae hasino.
The story of YJHD revolves round the lives of two main characters – Bunny (Ranbir) and Naina (Deepika). They meet at the crossroads of their lives – once on leaving college and again in their late twenties. The story revolves round how they influence each other and finally falls in love. Director Ayan Mukherjee, who is also a close friend of Ranbir is very excited about the film. "It is a crazy time leading up to the film's release. One half of life is the madness of making sure all finishing touches are in place. The other half of me is excited and terrified. I have a lot of hope and expectations from this film and I'm also finding a connect with my audience through it. So, it's been a pretty crazy phase," he confessed.
Talking about the film, Ranbir said, 'I am really excited for the release of YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI. It's my second film with my best friend Ayan. It is my second film with Deepika after BACHNA AE HASEENO. We have tried to make a nice, fun, entertaining love story of today's generation.'' Asked about his experience in working with Deepika, Ranbir said, ''Deepika has evolved as an actor. She has reached where she is because of her hard work, resilience, vision and intelligence. I am really proud of everything she has achieved.''
