Revealed: What made Alia Bhatt sport no make-up look

Alia Bhatt, who is known for taking time out to sport that oh-so-perfect look was recently spotted in a rustic avatar. Yes, the actor wasn’t wearing any short number – her signature style of being edgy and chic. Instead, the actor and director Imtiaz Ali went to the valleys of Kashmir to shoot for their movie Highway.
So the rustic look that you see her sport, is an outcome of his role in the film.

The place where the shooting transpired was remote and the crew had to trek 2-3 kms each day to reach the location.

“This has been a very different Kashmir for us. We trailed with the Bakarwals who are nomadic shepherds and with them saw the high slopes and streams of upper Himalayan mountains. This is a splendour that we had to trek for hours each day to bring to film. The entire unit lost weight despite gorging on splendid Kashmiri food,” Imtiaz Ali was quoted as saying.
