Sanjay Dutt bids tearful adieu to his twins and Manyata

Finally, the day has come when Sanjay Dutt has to leave behind his two cute babies and wife Manyata for there and a half years. Today, he will surrender before the special TADA court and serve the remaining three and a half years of his jail sentence. Sanjay was sentenced five years jail term but since he has already served 18 months in jail years back, now he has to go behind the bars for three and a half years.Once in a month, Sanjay's family will be able to meet him in jail for few minutes.
He will be taken into custody today and sent to Aurthur jail and from there he will be taken to Yerwada jail, Pune. Yesterday, the Aurthur jail authorities received anonymous threatening letter stating the actor life inside the jail is in danger. Reacting to this letter, the police and jail authorities said that adequate security will be provided to Dutt.
Sanjay Dutt wrote a letter to the court on Tuesday that he should be allowed to surrender directly before the jail authorities following threat from fundamentalists group but the court has rejected his plea without citing any reason. The producer of his films also asked the SC to allow Sanjay some more time to complete his pending assignments but the court refused to give him any more time.
On May 10, the SC has rejected the review petition of the actor. Sanjay Dutt was found guilty of possessing a 9 mm pistol and an AK-56 rifle that has been used to engineer the 1993 Mumbai blast that killed over 257 people and injured more than 700. The court said Dutt offense if ‘serious’ and he should serve the trial.
Sanjay is a strong man and we hope he faces the bad phase of his life with strength.
