Sanjay Dutt receives death threat: Will be killed if placed in Arthur rd jail claims anonymous letter

Arthur Road Jail authorities recently received a letter from an anonymous person, which claims that actor Sanjay Dutt's life is under threat. As per the sources, the letter was received two days ago, which warned that Sanjay Dutt would be killed if he is sent to the Arthur Road Jail.

"Usko aapni jaan gawani padegi..agar Sanjay Arthur Road jail mein aaya toh (Sanjay Dutt will be killed if he is sent to the Arthur Road Jail )," reads an excerpt from the hand-written letter.

"There are numerous inmates and under trials inside the jail, who belong to underworld and extremists and might harm the actor once he spends a couple of nights inside the Arthur Road Jai (sic)," said a close source from the Arthur Road jail.

In the past too, Dutt had received threats and faced abuses inside the Arthur Road jail. Thus, this time, Sanjay Dutt requested a TADA court that he should be allowed to surrender before Yerwada jail in Pune as he was facing threats to life from different groups. But Sanjay Dutt's lawyer, surprisingly, withdrew the application filed at the TADA Court.
