Sara to follow father Saif Ali Khan's footsteps

Children and even grandchildren of many stars have followed the family trend and has established their own place in Bollywood. The journey is not easy, especially with huge mountain of expectation on one’s back. The distinguished list includes Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kajol and Kareena Kapoor. The latest addition to this list is possibly going to be Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan from his first marriage with Amrita Singh.
Saif likes the idea of his daughter following in his footsteps in Bollywood, but he is in no hurry about this. The actor, who himself debuted at the age of 22, said, "Whether she can be or not is a separate question. I don't know for sure. I think she likes the idea of getting into movies. But at the moment she is pursuing academics, so let's see where that goes." He thinks that Bollywood actresses no longer need debut at the age of 16. He declared himself happy and relieved that Sara has joined University of Columbia for further studies.
Sara first appeared with mother Amrita Singh on the cover of the Hello! Magazine. Since then, she has been approached with a number of offers. She is studying to be a doctor, but five offers for leading roles from five major production houses can be quite difficult to resist. Amrita Singh said, “After seeing the magazine cover page, Sara has got many offers. Five eminent filmmakers have approached us and said that they wanted Sara to play the leading lady in their films.”
According to a source, "Sara has got many offers but Amrita wants the best for her daughter. Of late, youngsters launched by YRF have got a favorable response from the industry. Amrita's talks with them have reached the advanced stage. It is heard Sara's debut film is a love story, just as Amrita had debuted in 1983 with Betaab, a romance that marked the debut of Sunny Deol too."
So, we are hoping to see Sara Ali Khan in a leading role produced under the banner of Yash Raj films which has launched a number of successful newcomers in the past. In recent years, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and other children of celebrities have entered Bollywood and have created their own places and own identities. We wish Sara all the best and wait to see her make her mark on the silver screen soon.
