PIL against Sunny Leone
A PIL was filed against her in the Allahabad High Court by Rakesh Nayayik, a resident of Varanasi. The PIL sought a stay on the film’s release. It also challenged the provisions of the law which describe the authority of the Censor Board in India.
It objected to the presence of Sunny Leone in the film. Advocate SMA Kazmi, the legal counsel who had handled the case, was quoted as saying, “We have sought a stay order on the release of Jism 2 because of the sexually explicit content of the movie, and the inclusion of Sunny Leone in the film, for the adverse moral impact that her presence would have on society.”

Sunny’s controversial comment on rape
Sunny was in news when she made a controversial comment on rape on
Twitter. To her comment, actor Kamaal Khan tweeted, "Ye lo... Sunny
Leone says - Rape is not a Crime, It's just a Surprise Sex." This led to
an ugly legal battle between them.
Sunny Leone had later denied tweeting it and stated that her account was hacked for close to five minutes.
Later, Sunny filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Investigation
Cell of Mumbai Police against KRK for incorrectly attributing the
comments on rape to her.
