Dailybhaskar.com exclusively caught up with the hunky actor while he was shooting for the film and asked him to elaborate on the rugged, cool look that he was sporting
“I am playing Kashif who is an internationally acclaimed DJ from Lahore. He is majorly into alcohol and drugs. Everything to him life is all about music. It’s a psychological thriller film and it’s crazy” says Karan.
Karan has also got inked for the role and got his tattoos done from the same tattooist who designed Aamir Khan’s tattoos in ‘Ghajni’. When asked to shed some light on the imprints on his body, the actor stated, “Tushar, who designed Aamir’s tattoos in Ghajni is the same guy who worked on me. He has done a brilliant job and every designs means something in the film which I can’t reveal now. The designs on me are very gothic and tribal. I have tattoos on my arms and all over and it’s all to do with music. Everything in the film means something. Even a tissue kept somewhere means something.”
So is Karan planning bid adieu to Television and concentrate on his Bollywood career? When probed about this, he said, “No I am not taking a break from television. ‘Gumrah 3’ is going to happen for sure and we are already working on it.”
Buzz is also that Karan has signed a 3 film deal with Vikram Bhatt to which he comments, “I have signed a 3 film deal with Vikram sir. The first film is done and it’s going to be out in April. Now I am doing ‘Rum Pum Posshh’ so let’s see when the second and third film will come out.”
‘Rum Pum Posshh’ also stars Prateek Babbar in a very pivotal role. The film is still under production and is due to release this year.
