Eros International has released the first song from the film, ‘Raanjhanaa’ that goes ‘Tum Tak’ only few days after the release of the trailer of the film. Directed by Anand L Rai of 'Tanu Weds Manu' fame, going by the trailer one can draw the conclusion that it is a childhood liking that gradually transformed into teenage love.
The track ‘Tum Tak’ was sung by Javed Ali and Keerthi Sagathia and composed by Oscar winning director A R Rahman. The song has a classical touch and has a certain feel and freshness.
‘Raanjhanaa’ marks the debut movie of Kolaveri Di sensation, Dhanush. He has been paired opposite Sonam Kapoor. Sonam plays Dhanush's childhood love. Their romance flows with time. It shows Dhanush madly in love with his neighbor Sonam. The movie has been extensively shot in Varanasi.
Before the song released online, Dhanush had tweeted: "Raanjhanaa first song trailer releases at 12... a r rahman sirs magic continues with "Tum tak". A perfect happy day. Raanjhanaa first song trailer.. everybody's love story."
The song was released online currently and in few hours, it received over two million views. The film also stars Abhay Deol in a pivotal role. While Sonam plays a simple, next-door girl, Dhanush plays an edgy local boy.
Produced by Eros International, ‘Raanjhanaa’ is all set to release worldwide on June 21.
