What will Ash wear at Cannes, western or Indian saree?

The International Film Festival at Cannes has always been a star studded affair and this year, the Indian stars are going to attract a fair share of attention as the festival celebrates 100 years of Indian cinema. Aishwariya Rai Bachchan will also attend the function. She will be accompanied by her daughter Aradhya, her nanny, mother Vrinda Rai, her hair and makeup stylist and her PR agent. The question that is uppermost in everyone’s mind is what will Ash wear at Cannes, especially in the light of the fact that she may still be carrying some extra weight from her pregnancy.
Ash has always graced the Red carpet event at Cannes in western wear. In 2011, she had worn an Elie Saab Spring 2011 couture gown with chopard jewels and carried a Jimmy Choo clutch. Designers are looking at Ash to combine health and beauty to make her fashion statement this year. She will probably sport an Indian look this year at Cannes. Designer Nachiket Barve said, "I don't see weight as an issue here; she still looks beautiful. I think the red carpet could be a great opportunity to promote healthy beauty. If you ask me, I think Aishwarya is a mix of elegance and modernity. A blend of Indian and Western styles can be a good combination for her on the red carpet." Designer Shahid Aamir opined that perhaps she could pull of a Bengali look as she did in the movie Devdas.
The Indian look has been finalized according to a source close to Aishwariya.  "She has decided to ditch designer gowns and go completely Indian at Cannes. She will walk the red carpet on May 24 and 25. While Abu-Sandeep, Sabyasachi Mukherjee
Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Shahab Durazi were shortlisted to provide outfits, she finally decided to stick to Abu-Sandeep. The sari is off-white with chikankari work and antique gold embroidery. The churidar-kurtas are in beige and cream and classic Abu-Sandeep. Instead of choosing her usual dark colours,
