Ranveer Singh’s height of ‘Lootera’panti!

Creating a period is never easy. And for Vikramaditya Motwane it was more difficult as 1950s was an era when things changed dramatically.So when Ranveer Singh's character had to ride a bike, it had to be an Ariel bike that stopped manufacturing bikes after 1960s.


There are about only 3/4 Ariel motorcycle in whole of India. And most of them are with connoisseurs who wouldn't part way whatever the cost.Ranveer Singh while shooting feel in love with the motorcycle. For him its a delight to ride and the fact it is so rare adds to its charm.


Ranveer Singh made a special request if he could keep the motorcyle after the shoot. He personally really enjoyed riding it. ‘Lootera’ will be the second Bollywood film directed by Vikramaditya Motwane after his critically acclaimed Ronit Roy starrer ‘Udaan’. With Sonakshi Sinha playing Ranveer’s leading lady, the film is slated to release on 5th July.
