Sanjay Dutt was sentenced three and a half years imprisonment by the Supreme Court for possessing illegal arms and ammunition and the highly devastated actor seeks divine intervention. It was less than a week; he was spotted praying at the Devi Peeth Temple in Datia district of Madhya Pradesh, and now he offered prayers at the Baba Shahbuddin and Baba Moinuddin in Neemuch, Bhopal and also offered a chaadar.

His surrender is due on April 18^th and the actor will file review petition against his jail term. Sanjay Dutt had also offered prayers at a temple in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. He was accompanied by his brother-in-law Kumar Gaurav. Sanjay Dutt landed in a private plane and drove to the Devi Peeth in Datia district of Madhya Pradesh As his surrender period is very near, the actor is working double shifts to complete his forthcoming movies namely Policegiri, Peekay and Zanjeer. He looked very depressed during the shoot.
He is spending more time with his family as his surrender time is drawing nearer and at the same time trying his level best to fulfill his commitments.
Film stars wished that Sanjay gets pardon as he has suffered a lot. Few film and political personalities went to high governmental officials to seek pardon for Sanjay. During a press conference, Sanjay Dutt broke down and said that he holds high respects for our judiciary system and would surrender in the time given to him.
