Every shaadi I attended, I saw most of the women wearing my ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ sari : Madhuri Dixit

Bollywood’s megastar Madhuri Dixit definitely flutters a lot of hearts with uber glamorous avatar and outstanding dancing on screen. But the actress was also followed by a lot of women when it came the outfits she wore in the films. And who doesn’t remember that famous blue sari with a low back full-sleeves blouse that was a signature outfit in most of the weddings back then. Madhuri, too belives that her styling was followed and she herself noticed it when she attended weddings.

When asked whether ‘Ghagra’ making headlines does it scare her as today it is all about hot clothes to which she commented, “It was always about that little bit. How many saris they have worn of ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’. Every Shaadi I have been to, I use to see those clothes. The green ghagra and saris were always there. It’s not a today’s phenomenon.”

Surely it isn’t and it will always be there. It is definitely a part of the culture and a style statement that lives forever. Madhuri is all set to rock the stage plus sit along with sitting on the judge’s seat giving her feedback to the celebrity contestants in the upcoming season of ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ season 6.
