The great musicians like Naushad, Khayyam, S.D.Burman, R.D.Burman, Madan Mohan and A.R.Rahman have made India proud in the International arena.

Naushad
Known for popularizing classical music in Bollywood, Naushad shot to fame with the melodious number ‘Saawan Ke Baadlon’ in the 1944 film Rattan. The song ‘Jab Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’ is still everyone’s favourite besides his music in Taj Mahal, Babul and Gunga Jumna.

Khayyam
Khyaam is the man behind the success of Asha Bhosle who recognized her voice genre and utilized it in the best way possible. He has given his best music in the films: Kabhie Kabhie, Umrao Jaan, Razia Sultan, Shola Aur Shabnam.

S.D.Burman
The all-rounder musician of Bollywood has been the ultimate king of the Indian film industry. A royal price by origin, he has given music for about 100 films including Bengali movies. He has given some of his best songs for movies: Baazi, Bandini, Guide and Aradhana. While he immortalized Geeta Dutt’s song ‘Mera Sundar Sapna Beet Gaya’, he himself lent his voice in Aradhana.

Madan Mohan
Madan Mohan is known for his memorable romantic songs and gazals. Some of his best songs include Woh chup rahen, Fir wohi sham, Kaun aaya mere man ke dware, Kar chale hum fida jaan-o- tan, Zara si aahat hoti.

R.D.Burman
The creator of electronic rock music in Bollywood was known for his fun-filled energetic songs. The successor of music king S.D.Burman, R.D. Burman better known as Pancham Da married singing legend Asha Bhosle. His best numbers include Sar Jo Tera Chakraye, O Mere Sona Re Sona, O haseena zulfon wali. His most of the songs have been sung by Asha Bhosle and Kishore Kumar.

A R Rahman
Named as world's most prominent and prolific film composer by Time magazine, A.R.Rahman has even conquered the most coveted Oscars, BAFTA, Golden Globe and besides several Filmfare Awards. The Mozart of Madras shot to fame with film ‘Roja’ whose title track has been included in All Time Top 10 Albums by Time magazine. His best work can be heard in films: Dil Se, Guru, Rangeela, Pukar, Slumdog Millionaire.
