Can Akki make chocolate boy Imran an action hero? Guess not!

Imran agreed to perform a stunt at the trailer launch of 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai' with some help from Akshay Kumar's bodyguard

Imran Khan is not really known for attempting daredevil stunts unlike some of the more action-oriented heroes from Bollywood. In fact, a while ago, there was some buzz about the actor even refusing to jump from a small height for filming a scene of his upcoming gangster film without a harness.

Recently during one of the promotional events of the film, Imran apparently had some misgivings about performing a stunt while riding a bike. However, his co-star Akshay Kumar apparently came up with an alternate arrangement that calmed the actor's nerves.

A source says, `At the first look launch of the film, Imran, who plays a don, had to ride a two-wheeler. But he didn't look very keen for his act. Finally, Akshay suggested that his bodyguard do the stunt instead while Imran would ride pillion.`

Imran, who readily agreed for the change, says, `Akshay sir said that my entry was looking very dull. So he suggested that I should ride pillion on the bike and stand behind his bodyguard Shree. He is very good with bikes and we decided to use his two-wheeler and go ahead with the stunt.`

The actor, who is known more for his chocolate boy-image, admits how Akki helped him with his other stunts while the film was being made. He says, `Akshay showed me how to perform this stunt. On the sets too he made all my stunts look so easy. More than often, he would know more about stunts than the stuntmen themselves.`

Since there was not much time to rehearse his bike act, Imran says he had misgivings about performing it live. `There were no security measures available at the venue. But thankfully, it went off smoothly.`
