B’day Special: Karan Johar’s 5 candy floss movies

. He is the son of legendary filmmaker Yash Johar. He owns a production company Dharma Productions which produced many hit movies. Karan Johar ventured into Bollywood with Aditya Chopra’s ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ in 1995 where he played a cameo. His first directional venture is ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ in 2001.
Karan was born to Hiroo Johar and Karan Johar in May 1972. He went to the Greenlawns High School and attended H.R. College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai.  He is a close buddy of Shahrukh Khan and in all his films SRK is like must.  As Karan celebrated his 41st birthday today, we bring to you his five most incredible, larger than life and candy floss movies.
1.Kuch Kuch Hota Hai:-KKHT starring Kajol, Shahrukh and Rani Mukherjee is Karan’s first Bollywood venture. Karan is the writer and director of the movie. The film is a love story based on three close friends. The film won Filmfare best movie award and won National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
2. Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham:- KKKG starring Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan is an wholesome entertainment product. The film was a blockbuster in Indian and overseas. The film won five Filmfare awards.
3. Kal Ho Naa Ho: KHNH starring Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan is a  love story which was hugely liked in Indian and abroad. The film won eight Filmfare wards and won two national awards. Karan consecutively delivered hit after hit.
4. My Name Is Khan: Karan delivered another hit with his best buddy Shahrukh Khan. He paired his lucky mascot Kajol opposite Shahrukh. The film was special due to the concept and the pairing. SRK starred opposite Kajol after a long gap. The film won three Filmfare wards. The film was critically acclaimed in Indian and overseas.
5. Student of the year:-The film brings three newcomers, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra. The film is about friendship, love, sacrifice. The music of the movie was highly applauded. The film became a huge popular among the youngsters.
