Nicole Kidman's dazzling
appearance at Cannes has left us wondering will our divas - Aishwarya
Rai, Sonam Kapoor, Freida Pinto be able to match such impossibly high
standard set by the suave actress at the red carpet. While Vidya Balan
has already made her appearance in red lehenga and Sonam wore a chic
black modern look saree on Cannes eve we are yet to see Aishwarya Rai;s
choice of ensemble as she hasn't yet made an appearance at the red
carpet.
Vidya Balan was the first one to arrive at the Grand Hyatt Cannes
Hotel Martinez for the opening of the festival. Looking her best in a
royal red lehanga, Vidya was joined in by Hollywood stars Nicole Kidman,
Steven Spielberg, French actress Audrey Tautou and other jury members
who posed for the shutterbugs at a photocall before the opening
ceremony. Amtabh Bachchan too walked the red carpet with The Great
Gatsby cast.
