Imran Khan acts pricey, demands 11 crores for OUATIMA




The latest Khan to join the bandwagon of signing films for crores is the chocolate tee boy Imran Khan. Now another name has added to the list of actors who demands in crores for a single film. Till date we have heard about Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and now Imran Khan has joined them. If the latest grapevine is to be believed then the ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ boy, Imran has signed ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2’ for 11 crores.
With hit films to his credit like Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na (2008), I Hate Luv Storys (2010), Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) and more recently Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012), Imran Khan has become the most sought after actor of Bollywood. His performance in off-beat cinema 'Delhi Belly' also won him huge accolades. He is young, energetic and started off really well. His powerful performance and strong attitude have made him the 'youth icon.' The actor is utilizing his success quotient and has demand 11 crores for ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2’.
“Imran’s career has seen steady growth thanks to his fan following. His next big release is Milan Luthria’s OUATIMA that also stars Akshay Kumar. Imran is paired opposite Sonakshi Sinha in the film. The figure he is believed to be earning is Rs. 11 crore,” says a source close to the actor.
Imran Khan has bagged Siddharth Malhotra's Gori Tere Pyaar Mein opposite Kareena Kapoor and Tigmanshu Dhulia's Milan Talkies with Anushka Sharma.
Debuted in 2008 with the romantic comedy ‘Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na’, Imran has become the hot favorite of the cine-goers. The film won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
