Priyanka Chopra offers prayer at Vaishnodevi

Priyanka Chopra revealed her religious side. She made a hush hush trip to the famous Vaishno Devi temple this Tuesday night.

It was naturally a quiet trip as the actress didn’t wish to get mobbed by her fans as she walked on foot to get the darshan of the deity.
Vaishno Devi is located in the holy cave of the Reasi district, Jammu & Kashmir. Katra is the name of the base camp to the shrine. Every year huge number of devotees visit the shrine to offer their prayers and to get it fulfilled.
Priyanka’s father had been critically ill for some time and after being admitted to hospital for long time, has returned to home only a few months back. It is understood that the actress visited the shrine to pray for the health of her father.
According to an eyewitness, "Priyanka reached Katra on a chopper late in the night and from there she walked till the Vaishno Devi Mandir. She participated in the aarti the next morning and took the chopper back from Katra."
The onlookers said that Priyanka visited the shrine with her mother, a friend and her new manager. She walked to the shrine from Katra and then had a special darshan at the shrine in the morning and walked back to Katra where her helicopter was waiting.
Priyanka is a busy cine star and at present working on various projects. This year her film with Hrithik Roshan is all set to release, it is the big budgeted movie ‘Krrish 3’. Rajesh Roshan directs the Sci-Fi flick and the characters of Hrithik and Priyanka continues in the film from where they left in the movie ‘Krrish 2’. Vivek Oberoi will be seen in a complete negative role for the first time in this movie. The special effects are also heard to be mind boggling. No doubt this is will be the biggest release of the year 2013.
Her other movie to release this year is ‘Gunday’ which is produced under the Yash Raj Films banner. This is a period film depicting two coal mafias played by Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. The expectations are high from the movie and it is expected to jingle the register at the box office.
The Mary Kom biopic is also with Priyanka where she plays the role of a boxer and tells the true success story of the Indian woman boxer.
