Rajinikanth's 'Kochadaiyaan' backs out of Cannes




Reports has it that the trailer of Kochadaiyaan may not be shown at the 66th Cannes Film Festival. This is the movie in which the superstar, the god father of Kollywood the one and only Rajhnikanth acted. There is a lot of speculation on whether it should be shown in Cannes or not.
Earlier it was stated that the superstar’s much awaited film’ trailer will be shown at the ongoing Cannes film festival but now the idea seems to be uncertain as there is no official confirmation of Rajhnikanth’s presence at the film festival.
The producer of the film Murali Manohar expressed his views to The Times of India that the trailer of the film will be released much before the scheduled date and preparation regarding the trailer release is being carried out. Though, the director of the film Soundarya has not revealed any information regarding the trailer release date or the release date of the film itself except for the statement that the trailer will be released real soon. The director even twitted that the film crew is working real hard to release the trailer quite early and more surprises will be added to the trailer of the film.
The 66th Cannes Film Festival started from the 15th of May 2013 and will last for 11 long days finally concluding on the 26th of May 2013, the festival is experiencing the presence of many Indian celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Sonam Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and many more. Reports had it that the South superstar Rajhnikanth would also make his first appearance in the prestigious festival but with new reports coming in that he might not visit the festival, fans all across the globe are getting disappointed who will miss a chance to see the superstar at the festival.
The ultimate superstar of south is making his comeback on screen after a 2 years break, his last film Endhiran(Robot) directed by Shankar was a huge success globally. His recent film Kochadaiyaan will be the first Indian film to be using the state-of-art motion captured in 3D effects. The crew of the film is currently busy with post production works, the music of the film is done by the Oscar winning music director A.R.Rahaman and the music launch is expected to be set in Japan. The film will see Rajnikanth in a dual role both as a father and a son and Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone will be the female lead. With all speculations of whether the film’s trailer will be shown at Cannes or not, the film is receiving a very good publicity.
