Ranbir Kapoor detained, fined at Mumbai airport for carrying undeclared goods

Actor Ranbir Kapoor was detained and fined by the Customs Intelligence Unit at the Mumbai's International Airport on Saturday morning.

If sources close to CIU are to be believed, Ranbir hadn’t declared duty-free items which he was carrying.

After CIU sleuths intercepted, the actor's luggage was checked. The actor was not only questioned for close to three hours, but also slapped with a fine (Rs 50,000) before he was let off.

Ranbir was returning from London via a British Airways aircraft when the CIU found certain undeclared items with him.

Even though Ranbir Kapoor has been embroiled in controversies, he hasn't  been involved in such issues.
