Sushmita Sen is a happy single mother

The former Ms. Universe Sushmita Sen
Sushmita Sen has always been a woman of substance. She always walked away from the beaten track and her life is a glaring example of living life with one’s own set of rules.  Sushmita never believed in the rules laid down by society. She said earlier that she didn’t believe that marriage is necessary to experience the joy of motherhood. She proved it too.
She made it to the news headline by adopting a girl child even before getting married. In 2010 Ms. Sen adopted the girl child and named her as Renee. Sushmita pampered her little adopted daughter like a princess. The cute little girl went to every ramp, event and function with her adopted mom and became the centre of the limelight. Sush celebrates the birthday of Renee every year 5th September with grand fanfare.
In the year 2010, the former miss universe decided to adopt another girl child. The silver screen diva moved to Mumbai High Court to get permission of adopting another girl child and got it. She adopted a 3 month old baby girl and named her Alisah. An elated Sush stated to the media after adoption, "I am feeling on top of the world. I have named her Alisah, which in Greek means joyful. She is a very happy child. She will win you over in one minute."
Sushmita replying on her second adaptation said, "I wanted to be a mother all over again. Motherhood is very special. Bahut dinon se khayyal tha lekin High Court ruling ka problem tha. The earlier rule was that if you have adopted a girl as your first baby, you can't adopt another girl child. And I wanted a girl. Thankfully, three months ago, the High Court changed the ruling. You can't imagine how happy I was after hearing that. Honestly, I was over the moon. And I am still over the moon."
Over the time Sushmita has proven to be a doting mother. She has looked after the children well. She has set up a good example of adopting children and giving them a secured future. We hope more people come forward to adopt child like her. If we fulfill our social responsibilities and care about the orphans then the world will become a much better place to live.
We congratulate Sushmita on the excellent example she has set for the rest of the nation to follow.
