Trouble in Madhuri Dixit’s paradise?

She is the quintessential Dhak Dhak girl of Bollywood. With a smile that melts the hearts of a billion fans, Madhuri Dixit has ruled the industry for several decades.  In a time where controversy and affairs sold magazine covers, Mads kept her head down and made news through her work. However, there has been talk in Bollywood circles that the Maharashtrian mulgi is facing some trouble on the domestic front.

Ever since she returned from Denver to permanently settle in India, tongues were wagging about problems in her married life. How could her husband Sriram Nene a  successful surgeon leave his high paying job in the US and move to India to start a new career from scratch.

There were reports that perhaps their move back home was because Dr Nene faced some ‘legal hassle’ with his work profile back in the States. Even though the transition was smooth, insiders reveal that hubby dearest wasn’t too thrilled taking a back seat as Madhuri made a comeback and started signing several projects.
  

A source reveals, “It was the other way around for the couple in US. Sriram was quite a well known face in the medical fraternity, while Madhuri would only get recognized by her Indian fans. But the tables turned when they came back to India.

It took some time for him to realize how big a star and name Madhuri was in India. In the beginning he would join her for page 3 parties and award functions, but he soon stopped going as he got sidelined most of the times. There were several arguments between the couple about the newly changed equation.”
  

An introvert, Madhuri  doesn’ t have any close friends in the industry. In fact she has never confided in anyone except for her family. But this time around she found a friend in Karan Johar and reached out to him 

He reciprocated the gesture by giving her an item song opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.  Talk is that with a new publicist and a professional agency managing her work and her image, Mads is bracing for a solid comeback with Dedh Ishqiya and
Gulab Gang.

  

After Sridevi’s successful comeback with English Vinglish, Mads has realized what a good script and director can do for her! However, between all of this there is talk that her husband isn’t really thrilled with her plunging into so many assignments and there has been a lot of tension brewing between the two. While a separation is not on the line, we are informed that it would take an intervention from a family member to make the couple reconcile!
