Arjun Kapoor to star with Sridevi in ‘Mr India’ sequel




Slowly, the sequel to blockbuster ‘Mr. India’ is progressing and the latest development about the movie is that the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actor Arjun Kapoor will star in the ‘Mr India sequel. Arjun, son of Boney Kapoor
Boney Kapoor will work with his father for the first time. Arjun who has received rave reviews for his performance in ‘Aurangzeb’ will share screen space with his step mother Sridevi.
Producer Boney Kapoor has roped in the original director Shekhar Kapur to direct the film and the original actors Anil Kapoor and Sridevi will play the lead role. Though not much details has been disclosed as the film is still in casting stage, it is known that Arjun will be seen in a pivotal role.
When 'Aurangzeb' released, Sridevi took keen interest on Arjun's movie and she insists Boney to spend enough time with Arjun and
Anshula,

"There's no question of Arjun not being part of the sequel. His father is producing it and Arjun is a star - it won't make sense to not have him on board," says a close family friend, on the condition of anonymity. "But they aren't discussing the project right now, as they are still working on the script's final draft. Also, both of them are busy with their respective movies. Arjun is working on Gunday and Boney is producing No Entry Mein Entry," the family friend adds.
"It's too early to talk about Mr India 2. First, we have to wrap up No Entry Mein Entry and the Okkadu remake," says Arjun.
Sridevi has returned to showbiz with Gauri Shinde's English Vinglish' and she is bagged some promising projects. Report suggests she will a part of Kamal Hassan starrer' Sadma'.
Well, with Arjun, Sridevi and Anil Kapoor on picture,'Mr India' sequel is going to be a family affair.
