This is the first time Mika will be working with the production house. He stuck an amazing rappot with Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. So much so that, Mika waivered his charges for the duo. All the technicalities and budgets had been locked before Mika came onboard. However when Mika met Ritesh and Farhan they immediately bonded over films and song tracks.
Ritesh explained the vibe of Fukrey to Mika and how this is the first time Excel Entertainment is going to the heartland of India. Hence they need a soundtrack which connects with the masses at a massive scale.Mika promised to give them a upbeat song. Not only did Mika give them that song…. Infact he did it for free.
The lyrics of the song are written by the director himself i.e Mrigindeep Lamba. The music is composed by Ram Sampath
