If sources are to be believed, Manish Tewari met Pran at his residence today to give away the away. Pran, who hasn’t been keeping well, wasn’t able to attend the award ceremony which took place in Delhi last week.
"My father was not fit enough to travel to Delhi to receive the award," daughter Pinky Bhalla was quoted as telling a newspaper.
"The I &B ministry and Pran's family have together decided that since he cannot travel because of his health does not permit him there is chance that committee may come home to give him the award,'' the source added.
In a career spanning over six decades, Pran has worked in 350 films.
