Aditya Roy Kapur’s first solo movie, ‘Aashiqui 2’ has been declared a hit and hence the success calls for a big celebration. The new bhabhi of the house Vidya Balan Roy Kapur has arranged get together to celebrate brother-in-law Aditya’s success and she made sure that the menu includes Aditya’s favorite dish ‘rajma chawal’.
The family dinner was arranged at her Juhu home on Monday and it was attended by close family members only. It was Vidya’s decision to celebrate Aditya’s success. Says a source, “Rajma chawal is Aditya’s favourite dish. So Vidya ensured it was on themenu along with his other favourites like aloo tikki, dahi boondi and kulfi falooda for desert. The topic of conversation was but naturally, the movies.”Aditya says, “It was a small celebration which came as a sweet surprise for me. We all had a great time.”
Released last Friday, Mohit Suri directed ‘Aashiqui 2’ is getting a positive feedback from every corner and the film has been able to give a tough fight to the same day release Hollywood flick, ‘Iron Man 3’ and garnered more than 15 crores in the opening weekend.
Vidya attended the screening of the ‘Aashiqui 2’ with her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur and she was highly impressed with her brother-in-law Aditya and Shraddha Kapoor’s acting and praised them to the heavens. After the screening, she said that after a very long time she has seen such a beautiful film which made her cry, laugh. She added that she had fun watching the film.
