‘Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy,
wealthy and wise’ is one saying superstar Akshay Kumar follows
religiously and is known to one and all. Not many people however, know
that he can’t stay awake even a minute post 9 pm.
His latest co-star from ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again’ Imran
Khan in an exclusive interview with us reveals an interesting story
about his no control over sleep.
“I’m totally smitten by Akshay’s punctuality. Be it any time in the
morning, he is bang on time. In the night, he can’t wake up after 9,”
reveals Imran “I remember once after pack up we all sat for dinner and
we saw Akshay dosing in front of us,” he exclaims(laughs).
Akshay in fact is so particular about his sleep timings that he
doesn’t let anything bother them. Recently, the superstar was invited at
a late night event by Deols, the music launch of ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana
2'.
Akki quite generously showed up at 8:30 pm, met Deols and took an
early exit to catch up with his beauty sleep unlike other reigning
superstars Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan who turned up
post 10 pm.
Imran breaks into laughter on listening to this and concludes, “He is very capable to do that.”
