Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika
Padukone and Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express was one of the most awaited
films of this year, but not anymore.
Ever since the movie's first trailer is released, it's got more dislikes than likes from the audience. Perhaps quality is what they expect out of SRK and once they saw the first teaser, they are majorly disappointed.
Here are a few of the blasting fan reactions:
1. After dis trailer.. Youtube team is thinking to launch.."Super Dislike" option.. eagerly excited n waitin for "option" now..;-)..!!
2. EPIC SHIT!! what made rohit SHITTY and deepika padukone think tamil sounds so horrible!
3. I feel so sorry for SRK, now he has to stoop to help these mediocre actresses make their debut but in the process he's ruining his long hailed reputation.
4. Bakwaas, It is actually, Ra.Two
5. Watch the movie and come back alive, it's a challenge
What went wrong with the film? Why is it being hit with negative reactions? Here are some of the possible reasons behind this train not landing in the right direction:

What went wrong with the film? Why is it being hit with negative reactions? Here are some of the possible reasons behind this train not landing in the right direction:
REALITY CHECK: Exploding
cars might have got Mr Shetty some business in all his films, but when
it’s SRK as the lead in a movie, that’s NOT what people are expecting.
2. STRATEGY: The movie will work because of its Southern feel - the locations, the people, the style, etc
REALITY CHECK: The
trailer does not give the audience an impression of experiment; it looks
like SRK has mindlessly dived in an out-and-out South film.
(Can you believe that the above picture is a still from an SRK film?)

STRATEGY: Deepika Padukone's Southern siren look.
REALITY CHECK: Just how
many times has Dippy played the ‘plain jane in sarees and plat’ look?
It’s getting monotonous now. The audience has already seen her in that
look, hence no excitement. Deepika is liked most when her sensual side
is presented (even if it’s a sari). Think Dippy in Badtameez Dil and
you’ll know what we’re saying.
Just look at this, how many people would like to watch Deepika with a gajra? No marks for guessing
4.STRATEGY: SRK in zabardast action
REALITY CHECK: He’s not
Ajay Devgn or Sunny Deol. Remember, he’s the ideal family man and
romantic hero? And that’s how the audience likes him?
5.STRATEGY: The DDLJ iconic scene recreated in this film, again with SRK.
REALITY CHECK: People remember the scene not just because of SRK, but also Kajol.
They could have asked her to do a cameo, just like she does for all KJo's films
6.STRATEGY: Eid release. Also, all other possible clashes (like Ekta Kapoor's OUATIM 2) averted.
REALITY CHECK: When Billu
Barber and Swades bombed, there were hardly any clashes. SRK, you
should do a 3 Idiots (or at least a Jab Tak Hai Jaan), not a Dabangg.
P.S. And what happened to SRK's Diwali releases? Eid releases usually belong to Salman, no?
Hope Chennai Express lands on the right station and has many members who want to board this train.
Otherwise, this will be SRK's body language - to have people come and watch the film! (This is also a still from the movie)
