Ameesha Patel brought in her birthday at the nightspot 212 Santa Cruz along with the unit of her upcoming film Shortcut Romeo.
The guest list included Neil Nitin Mukesh with brother Naman, Abbas-Mustan, Hussain, Susi Ganesh, Evelyn Sharma, Sahil Shroff, Rocky S, Ravi Kissen, Zayed Khan, Farah Khan Ali, Sheetal Mafatlal and several others.
Neil and Ameesha cut a special cake for the media and even danced together. Neil sang a song from Shortcut Romeo, especially for Ameesha. All the guests danced to the music of her favourite songs.
The birthday party didn't end there. They cut a separate cake inside the venue with guests in full attendance. Sahil, Zayed and Neil popped open a bottle of champagne on the occasion.
Ameesha has always been celebrating her birthday with friends and family but this time she wanted to celebrate the special day with her fans. So she visited Inorbit mall, Vashi, on her birthday. For both the occasions, the event management was handled by Salad Entertainment. The mall was filled with thousands of her fans and well-wishers.
The winners of a competition were gifted goody bags. The girls at the mall went crazy when Neil made an entry on the stage. A special cake was cut amidst thousands of fans and Ameesha gave away chocolate boxes as a kind gesture.
Says Ameesha, `This has been one of my most memorable birthdays. This entire month is very special to me since I have a release in the same month as my birthday.
Not only that, for the first time I celebrated my birthday amongst such a huge crowd. I always felt that the amount of love and affection my fans have given me, I wanted to give it back. Visiting this mall has just brought me closer to my fans.`
