Yes, that's what Katrina Kaif wants to be; will rehearse with Hrithik Roshan to get it right.
Katrina Kaif didn’t have to match steps with Akshay or Hrithik Roshan for Sheila Ki Jawaani, and Chikni Chameli. They were her songs all the way. But for Bang Bang, (the desi avatar of the Hollywood hit Knight & Day) she will be shooting three complex and elaborate dance sequences.
Hrithik is one of the best dancers in B-Town, which means Kat will have to work hard to get her steps right to groove alongside him.
Director Siddharth Anand and choreographer Ahmed Khan have already zeroed in on the locations in Greece for the dance numbers. And now Katrina wants to put her best (dancing) foot forward. It is learnt that she has asked Hrithik to rehearse the three proposed dance numbers well in advance. Says a source close to the actress, “Hrithik is a natural dancer. Katrina needs to get familiar with her moves. She will be taking time off from her shooting of Dhoom 3 to do at least a month of rehearsals with Hrithik. Each of the three dance numbers with Hrithik would challenge Katrina’s dancing abilities. She wants to be ready for the challenge.”
When contacted Ahmed Khan was cautious in his enthusiasm. “It’s too early to talk about it. We shoot the film in July. But yes, what I have planned for Hrithik and Katrina requires intense preparation. It won’t be just, ‘Ek romantic gaana daal do, ek item song aur ek fun number.’ No way! Katrina and Hrithik have made it clear they aspire to achieve a different dancing chemistry this time.”
