Boys cheesy `Grand Masti` gets `A` certificate aleady

The makers of an upcoming adult film apply for and receive their Censor certificate two months before its scheduled release

Indra Kumar's next is an adult comedy and looks like the makers didn't want to take any risk with the Censor Board at the eleventh hour before its release. Sources say that the producers Kumar and Ashok Thakeria applied for an 'A' certificate that has already come through, a good two months before the sequel of Masti hits the marquee.

A source says, `Films generally receive the Censor certificate a week or 10 days before their release. If the first installment of this film is anything to go by, some of the dialogues caught everyone's eye. Not wanting to have any trouble with the CB, the makers made it clear that they were aiming for an 'A' certificate.`

According to Thakeria, they wanted to avoid last minute hassles.

Says the producer, `The board was happy with our demand as most makers want a 'U' or 'U/A' for their films. We wanted to aim for a release post Eid and so we applied for Censor certificate much in advance.`

The producer also states that he wanted to promote his film on the lines of what Aamir Khan did with Delhi Belly. `The film has been passed with no cuts,` adds Thakeria.
